9 Days Around Zim

Day one

At 08h30 clients are picked up for the grand Tour of the falls. A tour that will last in 2hours with one of our qualified Guide who will give a brief history of the ‘Falls’ at entrance and walk you through the rainforest explaining history about the ancient explorers and discoveries, detailing the flora and fauna, birds & wildlife and other points of interest. The Guide will also assist clients with photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular curtain of an amazing waterfall. Raincoats are provided when needed. Clients are also given the opportunity to shop from the curio market for souvenirs and gifts. After the market clients are transferred back to the hotel to relax at leisure..

Clients are transferred from the hotel to a typical cultural tour at Monde village which is 15km away from town center. Kwa Mpisi, a name derived from the hyena family.. The village tour is an experience of a lifetime, the day in day out life practices of pure African people known as Ubuntu. A first hand grand opportunity, seeing African women carry loads of heavy firewood on their heads without fear or tear for a neck break, men milking from standing heifers using bare hands up to fill a 10 liter jug without connecting any kind of modern machinery to seize tiredness. Can you handle!!! Get to Kwa Mpisi and satisfy your imagination. Clients are picked up from hotel to The Boma – place for the hungry, are you? .It is famously known for its special variety of African and Western dishes to suit your choice, a well arranged design and table setup to allow you a free dance and drumming up to maximum iTunes. The Boma offers a relaxed African evening with all traditional highlights from dishes to a fortune teller. Get your fortune told and taste a Mopani worm and be a graduate of your own Certificate to show those left at home that you were really in deep centre of African culture. On selection, is a list of Zimbabwean dishes, fish, a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunter's stew) - as well as vegetarian meals - diners are invited to sample such ethnic delicacies as deep fried kapenta and groundnuts? One will enjoy meals whilst being entertained by the local groups of imbube and traditional dancers: The Boma place of eating. Overnight at Hotel

Day Three - Combo Safari Experience

At 06h00hrs clients are picked up from the hotel for elephant back safari into lion’s, a chance to interact with the elephants and lions and then have a morning breakfast from the site. A life changing experience indeed, imagine yourself on the top of an Elephant sitting comfortable without fear while watching game and listening to Indunas give information on flora and fauna. Amazing!!! 11h45 - Helicopter Ride
At noon clients are picked up in a Quantum for the flight over the falls in a helicopter, famously known as Flight of Angels named after David Livingstone’s imagination of how the falls could have been gazed by the Angels when they flew across the water fall curtain and the gorges. The Zambezi Flight of Angels, duration of 12/13 minutes flight.
Viewing the falls from an air craft is so spectacular and amazing all times of the day. Be a champion after the ancient explorers, a life step ahead from them. David Livingstone saw the falls but never gazed at them like it could have been done by the angels on a swing over the falls but you can on a helicopter flight. The flight takes clock and anti clock wise circular turns on both directions giving a grand moment to view the chasm of the natural seventh wonder of the world - The Victoria Falls. After this activity clients will relax for the evening to take at their leisure/ Over night at Victoria Fall Safari Lodge.

Day Four - Hwange National Park

Clients be picked up in a 4 x 4 vehicles and transferred to Hwange National Park 3 hour drive to Zimbabwe's largest and best known game reserve, which is home to 400 bird species and 105 species of mammals including the ‘Big Five’. Once the royal hunting grounds to the Ndebele warrior-king Mzilikazi, Hwange was set aside as a National Park in 1929. The park covers an area of over 14,600 sq km and is particularly known for it's elephant populations and its concentrated with lots of animal species and amazing Bird life. Overnight in the Park Campsite on Full board to all lunch, dinner and Breakfast scheduled times be told by guide. In this morning the day start with a Fully Day Game Drive in Hwange National Park. Located in the far west of the country, Hwange sits in a remarkable belt of Africa, extending into neighboring Botswana. As well as elephants, the park contains over 100 mammal species including Africa's 'Big 5' (leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo), giraffe, gemsbok and the brown hyena. Clients overnight in the Campsite, guide will provide timings for all meals.">

Day Five - Bulawayo

Clients be transferred in Quantum minibus and drive south to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second capital city. This afternoon is yours at leisure to explore the city. Bulawayo is a pleasant city with broad tree lined avenues and wide open spaces. There is a fascinating National History Museum, which recounts much of Zimbabwe's traditional and colonial past; also near the Old Town Hall is a vibrant curio market that you can explore and try your bartering skills if you see a bargain. The curio markets also have a wide array of handicrafts and artwork that are on display made by skillful local craftsmen and woman. Overnight at Nesbitt Castle Hotel on Full board

Day Six - Matopos National Park

At 08h00 after breakfast clients are picked up to Matopos National Park is located a short distance outside of Bulawayo. The wind-sculptured Matobo Hills are the site of numerous Bushman paintings and the area holds a special culture and spiritual importance to the indigenous people. In the morning we will be picked up by knowledgeable guides that will take us to this beautiful National Park to embark on our game drive and provided the conditions are right we can view the game by foot as this reserve has the largest concentration of Black and White Rhino. Overnight at Camp Amalinda on Full board, guide to advise on meal times

Day Seven - Great Zimbabwe National Monument

Leaving Matopos at 07h30 clients will be picked and drive East of the country to a small town of Masvingo. Nearby is one of the most important archaeological sites in Southern Africa: the Great Zimbabwe National monument. Once a home to an indigenous population of some 10,000 people dating back to 1200AD, the area holds special significance to the country which took its name. Clients will overnight in Camp nearby to have easy access and ample time to explore the ruins

Day Eight - Antelope Park

At 07h00 clients are picked up with packed breakfast for Antelope park in Gweru, Zimbabwe's central plateau, enroute to Harare. Clients will do a mini mid-day 1h30 Game drive in the park Antelope Park then drive to Harare for a flight to Namibia at 17h50. Antelope Park has zebras and giraffe, lot more to enjoy and to take home memories. Arrive Harare around noon and have site seeing of rock balancing, ancient surburb of mbare before flying for Namibia where there are more nature scenes (trip extension) or flying back home
